Logic Pro Community

Welcome to the New York Logic Pro Users Group

The NYLPUG is organized and hosted by Jonathan Perl and Steve H  (New York's premier trainers for Logic Pro Certification). Founded in June 2005, NYLPUG is dedicated to bringing together creative musicians, producers, songwriters, composers, sound designers and other users of Apple’s Logic Studio. Our meetings are free and open to all!

Be informed about everything Logic!

Our next meeting is:

  Thursday, 2/7/13

at Tekserve in New York City 6pm

Topic:

Data Sonification using Logic's environment.  Climate Change at the Poles.

What's planned: Jonathan wil demo his use of Logic on a Climate Change SONIFICATION project. I have created a number of "audio displays" representing 54 years of climate data from arctic Greenland. The results range from music to sound-design-esque, but are all generated by the data. Logic all the way, with heavy use of the Envrionment's real-time MIDI processing. Check out www.polarseeds.org for a small taste.

Also, time for Logic Q&A and tips and tricks.

As usual, if you plan to attend, (if you haven't already) please send an RSVP to jonathan@nylpug.com to help us track expected attendence. .

This meeting is being sponsored by macProVideo.com
and our friends at Future Media Concepts... so you
know there's going to be some awesome swag!

• If you would like an opportunity to present your work to the Users Group either now or in a future meeting, please email one or two examples of the work (MP3/AAC files) to info@macaudiotrainers.com.

• If you have a specific question or concept you'd like us to address, please include it with your RSVP! Or, just show up and ask it on the spot!

This meeting is all about YOU, our members.

As always, Jon and Steve will be there to answer your questions and show a few tips.

See your there!
