Our next meeting is:
Thursday, 2/7/13
at Tekserve in New York City 6pm
Topic:
Data Sonification using Logic's environment. Climate Change at the Poles.
What's planned: Jonathan wil demo his use of Logic on a Climate Change SONIFICATION project. I have created a number of "audio displays" representing 54 years of climate data from arctic Greenland. The results range from music to sound-design-esque, but are all generated by the data. Logic all the way, with heavy use of the Envrionment's real-time MIDI processing. Check out www.polarseeds.org for a small taste.
Also, time for Logic Q&A and tips and tricks.
As usual, if you plan to attend, (if you haven't already) please send an RSVP to jonathan@nylpug.com to help us track expected attendence. .
